2 grams Of Warm Filtered Water.
These should be mixed thoroughly and then put into the enema bag.
In this process, a person must be laid in a comfortable position. The patient must be relaxed, so that, the process does not cause him any difficulty and the nozzle, which is going to be inserted, must go into the anus easily. The administrator then lets the fluid or enema solution to pass through the nozzle into the rectum. It will expand the stomach when this solution will reach there. After a few minutes, you can release this fluid into the toilet.
During the process and releasing the fluid, you can massage your abdomen to comfort yourself and to remove the solution from the rectum.
PURPOSE OF ENEMA:
It removes feces, when a person is constipated.
It washes out the rectum for an examination.
It removes feces before a surgical procedure prevent from contamination of the surgical area.
It manages drugs or any anesthetic agents.
It lubricates the rectum for softening the stool.
Harmful effects:
The habitual exercise of enema makes the problem more severe. It should be put as a last treatment.
It provides harmful effects to the heart patients or the people who had recently any surgery of the rectum or colon.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:
The tube, which is used for the injection of CASTOR OIL ENEMA, must be smooth and flexible.
It should only be used for adults and not kids.
The Castile soaps should be used for the purpose of washing out the enemas.
Aftercare:
A person must use a diet comprised of fiber and adequate amount of fluid.
The patient must have exercised on daily base routine.
He must also go to the bathroom without any delay, it will help a lot.
There may leak an oily fluid in a little quantity from the rectum for a few hours. You may want to know about it, so that; you can take a step for it.
