Thinning hair causes.
Thinning hair is frustrating. I should know because I suffered from thinning hair. I went through a period of heat addiction and after an extended period of hair strengthening my natural hair began to thin out. Once I noticed the damaged caused to my hair immediately stopped using heat. I started to apply castor oil and noticed my new hair growth began to grow in thicker.
Unfortunately my ends were damaged beyond repair and castor oil could not help the older parts of my hair. My thinning hair problems resulted from heat usage. But there are many other causes of thinning hair.
Causes of thinning hair include:
-
Stress
-
Lac of protein and vitamins
-
Pregnancy
- Chemotherapy
-
medications
-
over styling
-
weight loss
-
Thyroid problems
-
lupus
-
Amemia
You should consult a doctor if you suspect you are suffering from a medical condition. Here’s my experience with using castor oil to treat my thinning hair. l will outline the steps used to thicken my hair using castor oil along with biotin.
What’s you’ll need…
-
Cold pressed castor oil
-
Jamaican castor oil
-
Biotin (1000 or higher)
How I used castor oil to thicken my thinning hair.
I practiced this routine on a pretty much daily basis.
-
Day 1 I mixed cold pressed castor oil and Jamaican black castor oil together in a pot and heated it to a warm temperature. For those of you who aren’t aware cold pressed castor oil is organic castor oil which is grown without chemicals. Jamaican castor oil is regular castor oil with ash added in order to enhance the benefits and effectiveness of castor oil.
-
Next I applied the heated castor oil onto my scalp and massaged the thinning area of my hair for about two to three minutes
-
Every other day I would take 1000 mg of biotin. Biotin is a supplement which has proven benefits for the hair and nails. In the past I experienced good hair growth results with using only biotin. However the breakouts caused from biotin ensued. So I decided to take biotin every other day in order to lessen the biotin effects on my skin.
There is a scientific reason as to why I use this routine. The factual reasons are because castor oil and biotin are scientifically beneficial for the hair…
What is castor oil?
Castor oil comes from the castor oil plant, R.communis; it’s derived from castor bean which contains and abundant amount of ricinolein. Castor ol has many benefits for the hair. Castor oil has properties which stimulate hair growth and make the hair follicles stronger and scalp cleaner.
Ts been widely used for hair growth and as a an agent to stop hair loss and to thicken the hair.
What is Biotin?
Biotin is a natural occurring B-vitamin its commonly found foods like liver eggs and vegetables
Biotin does not stimulate hair growth but it makes the hair that is already growing much healthier and thicker. People who have some hair loss have reported having moderate success with the taking of biotin. You’ll need to take biotin on a consistent bass in order to experience the full benefit of it. However a few people have reported no success when using biotin
Consistent and long-term use of biotin will result in healthier roots and follicles, as well as stronger and fuller hair. This means that hair is stronger and breaks less and hair will grow longer as a result.
As always you should consult your doctor before you start tang any supplement. Some Side effects of biotin include.
Side effects
- Skin rashes and acne
- Lower vitamin C
- High blood sugar.
For natural hair loss treatment I made sure I used biotin which will treat my hair condition internally as well as castor oil which will aid hair growth externally. Combine both the external and internal hair growth treatment and you have a winning combination. Castor oil for thinning hair is a winning natural formula.

This design is spectacular! You certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
