Castor Oil Packs for Ovarian Cysts
Castor oil packs for ovarian cysts is a great natural remedy to help your body heal ovarian cysts naturally and without the need for surgery.
Ovarian Cysts
There are a variety of ovarian cysts that can occur in women. Some are functional cysts, meaning that the follicle forms into a sac during ovulation and contains a mature egg. Usually when the egg releases, these sacs go away. If the egg never releases or the sac closes up before it can, these sacs can swell with fluid.
These types of cysts – follicular and luteum cysts – go away on their own and cause minimal amounts of pain. However, if these cysts become big, they can twist, rupture, become painful, and/or bleed. Also, if cysts continue to form over a period of time, your doctor might diagnose you with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
Castor Oil as a Natural Remedy
Applying castor oil to an affected area increases the circulation throughout your body. By using a castor oil pack, it will help to bring in freshly oxygenated blood to whatever area you’re having issues with. It also works to help your body eliminate excess tissue in the area it is applied to. Castor oil packs also works to help the circulation of your lymphatic system so that your body can clear out any infections or toxins faster than it normally would have.
The use of castor oil packs to treat ovarian cysts is an ancient remedy. When applied to the uterine area, castor oil packs for ovarian cysts will stimulate the circulatory system and bring fresh blood to your reproductive organs. This extra blood will help to relieve ovarian pain and promote healing after a ruptured cyst. However, these oil pacts will not help to dissolve cancerous ovarian cysts.
